The famous Cameron Highlands Night Market “Pasar Malam” is right smack in the center of Brinchang town. It opens during the weekends during normal weeks. But during school holidays or public holiday it opens nightly and they start as early set-up at 5 pm and will end up 10pm or so, you can buy vegetables, flowers, fruits, souvenirs gift, t-shirt, strawberry, tea, etc. It is a lot of food stalls at the pasar malam. Night market also near all the local restaurants with walking distant.

After visiting the fruits and vegetable farms, you might want to buy some. The market is a good place to look for everything under one roof. The main markets are located in Kea Farm and on Saturday nights a night market comes alive in Brinchang offering an abundance of fruits, flowers, vegetables and souvenirs, not to mention food!

Multicrops Central Market

Cameron Highlands – Multicrops Market

Multicrops Central Market is a one stop center for visitors to find all the various items that are sold in Cameron Highlands. If visitors are tired of going all places in Cameron Highlands, perhaps visitors can just head to Multicrops Central Market, where visitors can get vegetables, flowers, pot, souvenirs and much more in just under one roof.

Besides that, this place is also called as “Arked Peladang Cameron Highlands”, or Farmers Arcade, it’s situated on the main road between Brinchang and Kea Farm. After going down on a steep climb from Brinchang town, and around there visitors can definitely see the giant green roof building. Over there, there’s ample of parking lot just right in front of the market, and the road is pretty wide. It’s different from Kea Farm and its surrounding area which is not crowded at all.

On Multicrops Central Market left end, there’s a unique shop named the “Strawberry Corner”. It was decorated with bright colors of strawberry arch doorway, definitely attracts visitors and there were pictures taken too. As visitors entering inside, visitors will find numerous things that are related to strawberries. For instance, strawberry jams strawberry trinkets, strawberry mugs and souvenirs as well. Even, the shop will makes you start to feel like a strawberry too!

Going in further, visitors will always be amazed of its well landscaped interior. Visitors can sit around the corner and enjoy the lush greenery of potted plants, sitting near to the water fountain, listen to the water flow, and it’s absolutely relaxing. Even, the path maybe narrow as it’s congested by showing all the plants and wares. However, visitors will not feel claustrophobic, because of the greens plants that will make visitor to feel closer to nature.

Kea Farm

Cameron Highlands – Kea Farm

Kea Farm, at an altitude of 1,628 meters, located about a few kilometers north of Brinchang, is the highest located village in the Cameron Highlands and also penisular Malaysia.

It is one of the most famous tourist spots in Cameron Highlands. Plenty of stalls selling fresh vegetables, flowers. Butterfly farms and self-plucking strawberry farms can be found here too. Here also is the entrance of the Sungai Palas and highest mountain in Cameron Highlands, Gunung Brinchang. Equatorial Cameron Highlands is located here too.

The center of Kea Farm is the market square selling fresh local produce. The area is surrounded by vegetables, fruits, wild orchid and strawberry farms, and landscaping of farms in the highlands.

Kea Farm market is one of the popular tourist spots selling the local produce. The whole area is just one big market garden. From end to end probably stretches about a kilometer long if you include the main road to the road leading into the Rose Center.

Besides vegetables, there are locally grown flowers like roses and dried flowers, colorfully grafted cactuses, and potted plants.

Cameron Highlands – Sam Poh Buddhist Temple

Sam Poh Temple, dedicated to the Chinese eunuch and admiral of the Chinese fleet, Zheng He (Cheng Ho), is one of unexpected sights in Cameron Highlands. Sam Poh Buddhist Temple located in Brinchang. It built high on a hill overlooking Brinchang town. Due to its location, the temple has a good view of Brinchang town and the houses that dot the little hills surrounding Brinchang. The temple is quite pretty and has been well maintained by residents and monks. Surrounded by a bright yellow wall, the temple is serene and peaceful. Inside are lots of different statues, both Buddhist and Chinese, and incense burning in the background in memory of those passed on.

Cameron Highlands – Cactus Valley

Cactus Valley in Cameron Highlands is the newly built tourist attraction with numerous types of cactus on show. Its hillside location makes for interesting viewing of the cactus and other plants which include Strawberries, Roses, Apple & Peach trees, Orchids, Cherry Tomatoes etc.

Cactus Valley boast of having one of the most variety of cactus plants, some as old as 60 years. They have the most varieties of exotic plants and foliage chich include calla, lily, impatiens, roses, fuchsia, ananas/vriesea, hibiscus, camellia, rhododendron, bird of paradise, glory bush, clivia miniata, peaches, hippeastrum, geranium, coleus, gerbera, oncidium and many other. 8 varieties of apple trees, passion fruit plants are also cultivated in Cactus Valley Cameron Highlands.
